I signed up to make a Cozy Reading Basket for silent auction for All God's Children, a local ministry. Here's what they do:
All God's Children, Inc. is a non-denominational, nonprofit
organization whose mission is to provide homeless and other in-crisis
teen moms and their children a safe place to live, but just as
important to provide a comprehensive range of programs and services
that will strengthen their overall physical,
emotional, educational and
spiritual well-being.
I'm going to get a basket (unless anyone wants to donate a cool totebag) and will provide some of my own books, but are there any authors out there who'd like to send one, or anybody that wants to donate something else that would make the basket nice: bookmark, tea, coffee, a mug, candy, a trivet, afghan, slippers (whatever you'd like really, the ideas ain't flyin' today) and anything handmade would be extra super (but not necessary). If you'd like to be a part of the basket, just email me. It would be great it to present something really lovely. It's due July 1st, so if you could get your item to me by June 25ish that should leave me plenty of time.
Thanks!!
Count me in! Could you do bath products? Folks really like those. When is your deadline for needing this? Thanks! Jeane

Ditto Brad's questions, and where would I send items?

Hey Lisa, Tricia would love to donate some books, send me your address! Thanks
and
Would you be interested in joining the blog tour for Tricia's new non-fiction book for teens, My Life, Unscripted?
"Drawing on Biblical principles, My Life, Unscripted guides girls through the tumultuous teen years by teaching them to have a plan of attack before temptation or hardship come".
Tricia would love your help spreading the word about this unique and much needed teen resource. It's great for church youth groups, book clubs or other teen groups and organizations.
Thanks for your time,
Thanks,
Amy Lathrop
