I've been growing increasingly unhappy with Christmas. Yet, it's always been my favorite. It's become empty to me.
I was just praying last night that God would help me know how to make Christmas different next year.
Over the past few years we've told the kids that Christmas will be less about them and more about Christ. Their birthdays can be about them. But we just haven't been sure how to make that happen. We've scaled down in everything, but that's not been enough.
Thank you so much for this. This is very helpful to me.
Also, here is a link for the coffee I have used. The church we attended before we moved sells it. It is actually a Rwandaan church with a Rwandaan bishop.
